Short Shrift, Manning Long. 1945. Duell, Sloan & Pearce. 8vo. Green cloth with red titles to spine, in the scarce original dust jacket, uncredited but presumably by Reba Sochis as per Long’s other titles. Uncommon, especially in the jacket. A very good copy in good plus jacket, cloth relatively clean, with a lean, but corners are quite sharp, the binding tight. Internally clean and generally bright throughout. Jacket is unclipped, with faint stains to spine panel which is faded a touch with several small chips at tips, with rubbing and some closed tears at other corners, but again, scarce nonetheless. A nice example.
