BUSH, Christopher. The Plumley Inheritance
The Plumley Inheritance. Christopher Bush. 1926. London: Jarrolds. 8vo. Undated, but the 1926 first and only edition —until some recent paperback reprints — of the author’s first work. Bush would go on to write over one hundred books including his sixty-plus Ludovic Travers crime and mystery series. This, his first, extremely scarce. Blue cloth with red lettering and design to the boards and spine panel. A very good book, the cloth with a few light marks, the spine panel a touch faded, the corners and spine tips gently bumped. Binding tight with a gentle lean. The textblock has some spots, but the contents remain mostly excellent, with light occasional foxing. An attractive example of a very difficult book to find.
I have many other Christopher Bush titles. Please inquire.
